Hope Lund is a photographer, raised in eastern Montana, who photographs the Great Plains landscape. She attended Black Hills State University and thrived in the small campus atmosphere and tight-knit student body. Growing up on a ranch allowed her to spend ample amounts of time outdoors and this love of the land and lifestyle is reflected in the photographs that she creates. Subjects ranging from western lifestyle, panoramic landscape imagery, and traditional western views are common in her photographs; however, she brings a modern view on the traditional cowboy aesthetic. She uses a array of photographic capture devices ranging from contemporary digital cameras to analog cameras to create meaningful photographs.
